Free vs Pro

Free shows you every open door and closes the first ones. Pro closes the rest. Pro is an add-on: you install it next to the free plugin, not instead of it.

What Free includes

  • Hide Login. Move the login to a secret path; wp-login.php and wp-admin return 404.
  • Basic spam protection for post comments and WooCommerce product reviews: an invisible honeypot and a minimum fill-time check. No CAPTCHA.
  • Surface Scan. Measures what your site exposes with real requests and names leaked usernames.
  • Dashboard. A status card for every layer, so you see which doors are open.
  • History. A timeline of failed and blocked attempts.
  • "If you lose access" card. Your current login URL and the emergency lines, in one place.

Free makes no outbound calls.

What Pro adds

  • Login Limits. Locks out IPs that keep guessing passwords, with optional alert emails.
  • Two-Factor (2FA). Codes from any authenticator app, with recovery codes.
  • Backdoor Lock. Closes XML-RPC login and bulk password guessing through it.
  • Username Shield. Stops WordPress publishing usernames in four places.
  • Full Anti-Spam. Protection for form plugins (Elementor Pro, Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Fluent Forms, Forminator), limits per IP and per email, a disposable-email list, block lists, link and word filters, and quarantine with "Not spam".
  • Fake Signup Block. Hourly limits, a site-wide ceiling with a circuit breaker, a cleanup wizard. Checkout is never blocked.
  • Flood & Fake-Bot Guard. A request budget per IP and fake Googlebot/Bingbot blocking.
  • Declutter. Finds plugins and themes that are installed but do nothing.

Prices

How they fit together

  • Install the free plugin first, then the Pro add-on. See Install Hushfort Pro.
  • If a Pro licence ends, the Pro layers switch off and the free ones keep running. Your settings stay.
  • Pro checks its licence with hushfort.com about once a day, sending only your domain, licence key and Pro version.
